Not Just a Hotel... An Experience
In Beverly Hills, where hotels love to brag about which celebrities frequented their establishments, the SLS offers up a different list. Their bragging rights include legendary Philippe Starck, famous French designer, James Beard, the father of American-style gourmet cooking, and culinary innovator José Andrés.

They also brag about their rooms built for comfort rather than décor, the world famous Ciel Spa, seven fitness centers with Technogym and Kinesis equipment, as well as fully trained staff, and the lobby and restaurant, Bazaar, hosting a legendary array of social and culinary delights.

Long, roomy halls and wide open common spaces surround over three hundred guest rooms, filled with fur throw-rugs and leather furnishings. The baths hold free-standing soaking tubs and artistic stainless steel sinks.

For a view, the hotel offers a rooftop pool with infinity edge and reflecting pools. For privacy, they offer six personal cabanas with built-in entertainment.

Once the Hotel Nikko and later Le Meridien, both mid-range hotels sporting oriental window screens and gloss-black wood, owner Sam Nazarian reincarnated the structure into the SLS at Beverly Hills, a name that is on its way to displacing nearby Chateau Marmont and Four Seasons as the town’s top crash-pad.
